More than 27 China UCO plants closed the door in 2017/2018

According to the latest small market survey and verification conducted by STIN sourcing team, more than 27 UCO plants (suppliers) has been closed, paused the production and even disappeared in 2017-2018 due to the stringent environment-protection campaign launched from early 2017 by Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China.

Lots of small-mid UCO treatment or refining plants are forced to close the door as their equipment, facilities and environment-protection measures are not qualified and they are regarded as the main source of local polluters. The export-suspended or closed UCO plants are mainly from Hebei, Jiangsu, Henan, Guangdong, Sichuan and Zhejiang etc.  It's very important to audit any of your suppliers before placing any large orders in China.
